In an 8x8 pan, drop the tablespoons of butter & put into the oven for a couple minutes until fully melted. Take out of the oven and fold in the batter.
Swirl the butter into the batter slightly, it does not need to be fully mixed. Dump the peach mixture right on top of this. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
Let cool for a bit to set, but serve hot by itself or topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
